Brighton usually has kickers set up in their park for the riders. This year however, there have not been any jumps to hit. There have only been 2 sets up, and they were only there for contests then destroyed. They set up jumps for the free flow contest, but the first day they set them up, some kid ducked the rope and broke his back. I am pretty sure that someone got hurt on a jump last year and the kid tried to sue Brighton. But I am not positive of this. Its a really big problem, especially because I prefer jumps. Brighton is loosing business because of the lack of kickers. I know many kids that are going to PCMR (Park City Mountain Resort) Or The Canyons next year. PCMR had a jump line set up opening day, so Brighton cannot argue that there is not enough snow. Anyway I am really bummed I myself am also going to PCMR next year.
